Bei diesem Verkostungsabend im Rahmen der Fine Wine & Dine-Serie begaben wir uns auf eine genussvolle Reise durch die Rotweinlandschaft der USA. Der Schwerpunkt lag klar auf Kalifornien und Washington State \u2013 mit einer beeindruckenden Bandbreite von Field Blends (Gemischter Satz), Pinot Noir und Zinfandel (Primitivo) bis hin zu charakterstarken Syrah- und Cabernet Sauvignon-Interpretationen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Abend startete mit einem aromatischen Aperitif und f\u00fchrte \u00fcber alte Rebst\u00f6cke, spontane Verg\u00e4rung und burgundisch gepr\u00e4gte Stilistiken hin zu kraftvollen, tanninbetonten Weinen mit Tiefe und Struktur. Auff\u00e4llig waren die Vielfalt der Ausbauarten, die unterschiedliche Handschrift der Winzer sowie die spannenden Stilunterschiede zwischen Fruchtbetonung, Frische und W\u00fcrze. Besonders die Syrah-Weine \u00fcberzeugten durch Struktur, Kr\u00e4uterw\u00fcrze, Rauchigkeit und teils eindrucksvolle Tanninstruktur, w\u00e4hrend Zinfandel und Field Blends mit saftiger Frucht und Charme punkteten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr eine w\u00fcrdige Begleitung sorgte abermals die hervorragende K\u00fcche des Restaurant Sitzwohl in Innsbruck, die hervorragend zu den kredenzten Weinen passte. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Zwei hochklassige Bonusweine rundeten den Abend w\u00fcrdig ab und sorgten f\u00fcr gro\u00dfes Interesse und lebhafte Diskussionen. Abermals konnte unser Mario auch \u00fcber dieser weiter entfernt liegenden Anbaugebiete mit seinem gro\u00dfen Fachwissen interessante Einblicke in den Weinbau der Region geben. Wir bedanken uns f\u00fcr die hervorragende Zusammenstellung der Weine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
