Krampus is a demon-like creature that appears around the same time as St. Nikolaus during the Christmas season here in the Alps. St. Nikolaus spreads good cheer and brings fruit, nuts and chocolate to good children. Krampus visits bad children and girls. Every year in the first half of December, Doris and Andi put on a special wine tasting they call the “Krampus” tasting.
